Castor Oil Small Wrap

Castor Oil small wrap includes:

1 x  small wrap– compresss wrap made of 100% organic flannel cotton and two layers of waterproof, non-toxic PUL fabric to ensure a mess/leak-free use.

Approx size (18cm x 8.5cm)

Does NOT include any castor oil. The castor oil needs to be purchased separately.

This small compress wrap is suitable for small areas like the neck/thyroid, elbow, ankle, wrist, knees, etc.

Why use Castor Oil Wrap?

The castor oil compress wrap has been used as a natural remedy to promote healing, improve circulation and reduce inflammation for thousands of years. There are many benefits. It has a potent anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect on the part of the body where it is placed. You can use it anywhere on your body. It stimulates lymph, blood circulation, and immunity in that area.

Directions for using the castor oil small wrap:

Pour/Drizzle 1-2tbls of castor oil on the inner part of the wrap avoiding the ends.

The wrap should be saturated, not dripping.

Let stand / Wait for 30min to allow some oil to absorb into the wrap

Place the saturated pack on the body area required and secure it in place.

Wear it for a few hours a day (minimum 1 hr) or Ideally Keep it on overnight.

If using overnight, Preferably use old sleepwear and pillow case, in case of your body movement when asleep.

Be careful when using overnight if used around the neck area.

How often should the castor oil wrap be used?

Use daily for a few hours  1-3 hours or longer (min 60min)

Can be applied and used overnight, which will enhance the benefits.

Use  3-4 days in a row or 3-4 times a week, repeat whenever necessary.

Storing the wrap after use:

Remove the wrap from the body area. The skin may be cleansed by dusting some bicarbonate of soda onto the area and then rinsing the area.

Store the wrap in a glass container in the fridge for future use. Upon next use, you may add a small amount of castor oil to bring the pack back to saturation.

Take the glass container out of the fridge a few hours before use. It is advised not to place the cold castor oil wrap on your body.

Store the castor oil bottle in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.

Important Note:

Castor oil wraps should never be shared between different people.

Should not be used while pregnant or trying to fall pregnant.

Not advised to use during menstruation or if you have diarrhea.

Test the castor oil and the wrap on a small area to see if you have a skin reaction prior to use

Washing instructions:

Washing your castor oil wrap can be easy.

Only wash when necessary.

• Soak overnight in a bowl in a mixture of hot water, bicarbonate of soda, and natural dish soap. In the morning, hand wash with hot water and natural dish soap, wring it out very well.
• Take an old tea towel (that you don’t mind ruining) and lay the outer layer of the pack against it.
• Roll the pack up in the tea towel, blotting out the oil until there is little oily residue left on the outer layer.
• Hang it to dry.
• If the wrap is stored correctly can be reused 30-40 times (i.e. around 2-3 months), thereafter the cloth needs to be discarded and a new wrap used.
