How to use the Waxing Kit 2 Roller Heater  –

1. Clean the skin using the Pre Wax Lotion.
2. Insert a depilatory wax cartridge into the roller heater machine and close the lid.
3. Plug in and switch on the wax heater.
4. Heat the wax cartridge for 30min or longer depending on the wax level in the wax cartridge. A full wax cartridge can take 30-60 minutes to heat.
5. Test the wax by rolling the wax cartridge onto a wax paper strip first and then on a small patch of skin. Ensure the temperature is safe – if the wax is too hot, wait a bit before proceeding. (Bruising or Burns can occur if the wax is under-melted or over heated. Always test)
6. Roll the wax cartridge in the direction of hair growth.
7. Place a wax strip paper over the wax applied area. Press down in the direction of the hair growth, then pull off in the opposite direction while keeping the skin taut.
8. After hair removal, apply the Post Wax Lotion to soothe the skin.
9. Clean your wax heater and wax roller cartridge head using the Wax Cleaner

Important Waxing Tips and Guidelines

• Heating Time: The heating time for wax cartridges may vary between 30-60 minutes, depending on how full the cartridge is. Always close the lid of the handheld wax machine while heating for best results.
• Ensure Proper Heating: If the wax isn’t fully melted, the roller may not glide smoothly or may stick. Allow enough time for proper heating before starting.
• Cleaning the roller head: A sticky or stuck roller head usually means wax residue. When the cartridge is fully heated, spray the wax cleaner on a cloth and wipe the roller head. Test by rolling the wax on a wax paper before applying to the skin.
• Avoid stickiness on your hands: apply a small amount of Vaseline to your palms and fingers if they become sticky while waxing.
• Correct wax consistency: Proper heating ensures a thin, even wax layer for clean hair removal. If the wax is warm/cold and thick, the wax won’t roll on properly, strips won’t adhere correctly – make sure it is fully melted and applied smoothly.
• Keep Equipment Clean:  Regularly clean your wax heater, roller cartridges, and roller wax heads with the wax cleaner for optimal performance and longer use.
• Storage advice: Store all cartridges upright in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat to prevent leaks and to maintain wax quality.

Safety & Patch Test Advice

Waxing can cause skin irritation, redness, minor rashes or bumps, especially for those with sensitive skin or allergies. A patch test should alway be done,  24 hours before full use. If irritation occurs, discontinue immediately.

Ensure wax temperature is safe before applying. Avoid waxing on sunburnt or broken skin.

If your wax cartridge slides or feels loose, hold the wax roller heater with your thumb on one side and your index and middle fingers on the other side. Use your ring and little finger to hold the roller head of the wax cartridge. This grip ensures the cartridge rolls smoothly and glides evenly across the skin.
