Calcium Bentonite clay also known as Montmorillonite clay is composed of aged volcanic ash that acts in a very unique way by using negative charge to attract impurities out from the skin. It contains calcium, magnesium, sodium & a small amount of many other minerals.
How does it work?
When the clay is wet it swells and draws impurities and dirt into it like a sponge (similar to how chia seeds swell and soak up and liquid around them).

What is Bentonite Clay?
Calcium Bentonite Clay is a natural anti-aging facial mask that moisturizes dry skin, tames oily and sensitive skin, and is an effective detox that calms acne-prone skin and clears blackheads/blemishes.
Here is how to use Bentonite Clay as a Facial Mask:
Add hot water to the clay and a few drops of Argan Green Pure Organic Argan Oil 50ml or any other moisturiser.
Apply the clay to your face making sure that you avoid the eye area.
Leave on for 20-30 min while keeping the mask wet by patting it with wet hands.
Remove the mask with a wet sponge or face cloth.
Leaves the skin feeling clean, smooth, and well nourished.
Will the Bentonite Clay Expire?
Bentonite Clay does not contain any ingredients that can expire – so should last you a very long time.
Note:- Calcium Bentonite Clay should be kept away from metal as the clay has the ability to absorb metals and will become less effective.
